Chuunibyou Café PIERROT begins with a laboratory setting that serves as the stage for a story steeped in a chuunibyou-inspired worldview. This place was once where a man known as Julius VI devoted himself to research. Struggling with a shortage of manpower, he created what came to be known as “marionettes.” These marionettes required pomegranate seeds in order to move. However, over time the pomegranate seeds began to rot, and little by little the marionettes stopped moving. Then one day, the sound of a flute echoed from somewhere. The melody spread through the laboratory like a ray of salvation, bringing lively energy back to the space once again. Today, PIERROT welcomes visitors into a place wrapped in its own unique story-driven world.

A Dark-Cute Space Colored by Chuunibyou × Gothic

The interior of the café is unified with a black-based gothic atmosphere, creating a distinctive world themed around “chuunibyou.” Serving guests in this dark-cute setting filled with gothic décor are marionettes dressed as maids, each with their own personality. A café based on a chuunibyou concept is quite rare, and visitors are welcomed with the phrase, “Please enjoy a wonderful nightmare,” inviting them into a slightly mysterious world.
